What It Takes

Becoming an Egg Donor is a noble endeavor! You have the opportunity to make an impact on another family that will last a lifetime. Without the help of Egg Donors like you, many individuals and families simply could not exist. Below, we've listed a few requirements on this page that have been established to not only ensure the highest chance of a successful embryo creation, but also to help keep you safe during this journey. All Egg Donors must meet all of the requirements listed below!

You must:

      1. Be between 21 and 32 years old.
      2. Have a BMI below 32. To calculate your BMI, you can do so HERE.
      3. Be in generally good health.
      4. Be having normal, healthy menstrual cycles.
      5. You must reside within the US, and be either a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

 

You must not:

      1. Reside within Nebraska, Louisiana or New York.
      2. Have a history of:
        1. STDs (within the past year)
        2. Cancer
        3. Alcohol or substance abuse
      3. Family or self history of:
        1. Genetically transmittable/inherited diseases (such as Huntington’s disease, sickle cell anemia, or cystic fibrosis)
        2. Chromosomal abnormalities (such as Down syndrome and Turner syndrome)
