Step 2: Expressing Interest

When both parties review a profile and feel interested, we facilitate the next step: meeting each other. We believe in ensuring mutual interest before anyone invests emotional energy in a potential match.

Step 3: The First Meeting

The first meeting typically happens via video call (Zoom, Google Meet, etc..). This is your chance to get to know each other as real people. You might talk about your families and daily lives, why you chose this path, your hopes and expectations, and how you envision the relationship developing. A member of our team will be there on the call to guide you through important questions and topics, just to ensure nothing is missed, but you will be encouraged to speak freely with each other to find quirks and chemistry that only come out during normal conversation!

It’s completely normal to feel nervous. Be yourself, ask questions, and pay attention to how the conversation feels. Does it flow naturally? Do you feel heard and respected?

Also, here’s something important: if the first meeting doesn’t feel right, that’s okay. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong with either party – it just means this particular match might not be the right fit. It’s all about finding the right match for this particular moment in your journey.

Step 4: Taking Time to Decide

After the first meeting, both parties take time to reflect. There’s no pressure to decide immediately. Some people know right away. We always encourage your family to be on the call with you so that you have someone else to bounce your thoughts and feelings off of!
